I have been in the field of education for 30+ years. I began my career in Northampton Massachusetts, where I taught grades one and two for 22 years, and facilitated math intervention for 5 years. I moved to Holyoke Public Schools to become a Mathematics Instructional Coach in 2021. Whose voice is the center of math discussions? This is what I am passionate about exploring, as it's the students' thinking that should drive everything we do in math class.
